Privacy Policy

Bryan–College Station 411 (“we”) is operated by Mpac Media Group. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Business listings: name, category, address, phone, website, description, and photos you submit. This information is published publicly in the directory — that's the point of a listing.
• Contact details: when you submit or claim a listing, or contact us, we collect your name and email so we can respond.
• Payments: paid plans are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles all payment data under its own privacy policy.
• Usage data: basic, anonymous analytics (pages visited) to keep the site running well.

How we use it

• To publish and maintain the directory.
• To contact you about your listing or subscription.
• To include paid-plan perks you signed up for, such as the newsletter text-link line.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information. Ever.
• We don't send promotional emails to paid subscribers about unrelated products.

Email — deals and newsletters

• Deals list: if you sign up, we email you deals, coupons, and specials from local businesses at the frequency you chose — every deal as it drops, a weekly roundup, or a monthly roundup. Joining is always your choice, and signing up for deals never signs you up for anything else.
• Newsletter cross-signup: the signup form offers a separate, optional checkbox for the Bryan–College Station newsletter (launching soon). We add you only if you check it — one list never silently signs you up for the other.
• We never sell the list. Your email is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. Businesses whose deals we send never receive your address — we send the email, not the list.
• No spam, easy exit: mail comes only from us, only about the local deals and news you asked for. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, and you can also unsubscribe any time at our unsubscribe page.

Your choices

To update or remove your listing, or to ask what data we hold about you, contact us. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled anytime; cancellation stops future billing and your listing returns to the free tier at the end of the billing period.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies: one to keep administrators logged in, and any required by our payment processor during checkout. No advertising trackers.
